www.expatsh.com provides Online Assistance for Shanghai Information and Services (OASIS). The OASIS works as follows:

Persons interested in finding a specific service, reserving a table at a restaurant, ordering VCD's for delivery (not 4th Party delivery), wishing to book a Golf Teeing-Off time, have a computer repair person visit, have translation completed online, find an apartment online, order a holiday quotation or to have a problem resolved concerning almost any issue here in Shanghai, may contact our multi-lingual staff via e-mail or telephone - this is the OASIS system.

For reserving of a table in a restaurant, our staff will - upon receipt of your reservation request by e-mail - contact the restaurant themselves and book the table for you in your name and confirm receipt of this booking immediately by return e-mail.

For requesting computer repair online our staff will - upon receipt of your request by e-mail - contact different computer repair companies with the request/problem and confirm their response immediately by return e-mail.

For requesting translation online our staff will - upon receipt of your request by e-mail - view the doucments you wish to have translated and will provide you, via e-mail, a timescale involved for the translation work to be completed. If this work is in excess of the Free Level, we will provide you with a quotation immediately by return e-mail.

For requesting a Holiday Quotation Online, our staff will - upon receipt of your Holiday Quotation request by e-mail - contact different Travel Companies and source the best possible price available for you and then will confirm their findings and quotation immediately by return e-mail.

For requesting we find a suitable list of apartments/accommodation using our Apartment Finder Service our staff will - upon receipt of your request by e-mail - contact different real estate companies for you, source the options available and provide this information back to you immediately by return e-mail.

For reserving of a teeing-off time at one of the Golf Clubs listed on the site our staff will - upon receipt of your teeing-off time request by e-mail - contact the Golf Course themselves and book the teeing-off time for you in your name and confirm receipt of this booking immediately by return e-mail.

For the ordering of VCD's, our staff will - upon receipt of your request by either e-mail or telephone, contact the VCD store chosen and arrange delivery of the ordered items to your address. Payment for those items will be upon delivery.

Requests for assistance in all other aspects of life in Shanghai will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis however, in the event of an urgent response being required, a member of our staff will do their utmost to generate an immediate response.

For assistance with regard to our staff contacting a service on your behalf whereby communication is difficult between yourself and the third party, www.expatsh.com cannot be held responsible for their interpretation of the findings of your request for information or any action taken upon them providing you with these details.

In all cases, in the event of an emergency, the relevant Emergency Services should be contacted immediately and under no circumstances should www.expatsh.com be used as a substitute for the Official Emergency Services.

RESTAURANTS

The contract of booking is made between you, as the consumer, and the restaurant at which you request a reservation and is subject to the additional terms specific to the restaurant at which you book. The booking between you and the restaurant is only confirmed when you receive written or electronic confirmation of booking from www.expatsh.com who in turn have received confirmation from the restaurant you have chosen. In the unlikely event that you do not receive such confirmation please contact us at info@expatsh.com

www.expatsh.com do not in any case contract on their own behalf, or assume any liability under this contract or these conditions. These booking conditions set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and the restaurant at which you book the table or any other facilities.

www.expatsh.com will not accept e-mailed requests for online restaurant linking from web-based e-mail addresses (i.e. Hotmail, USA.net, Yahoo etc.) All e-mails sent to www.expatsh.com requesting online reservation of Restaurant table must be from fully registered e-mail addresses.

Bookings can be amended subject to the specific conditions set out in the restaurant's conditions.

GOLF COURSE ONLINE BOOKING

The contract of booking is made between you, as the consumer, and the Golf Course at which you request a Tee-Off Time reservation and is subject to the additional terms specific to the Golf Course at which you book. The booking between you and the Golf Course is only confirmed when you receive written or electronic confirmation of booking from www.expatsh.com who in turn have received confirmation from the Golf Course you have chosen. In the unlikely event that you do not receive such confirmation please contact us at info@expatsh.com

www.expatsh.com do not in any case contract on their own behalf, or assume any liability under this contract or these conditions. These booking conditions set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and the Golf Course at which you book the round of golf or any other facilities.

www.expatsh.com will not accept e-mailed requests for online Golf Tee Time Booking from web-based e-mail addresses (i.e. Hotmail, USA.net, Yahoo etc.) All e-mails sent to www.expatsh.com requesting online reservation of Golf Tee Off Times must be from fully registered e-mail addresses.

Bookings can be amended subject to the specific conditions set out in the Golf Course's conditions.

ORDERING ONLINE OF VCD's

The contract of booking is made between you, as the consumer, and the chosen VCD Outlet and is subject to the additional terms specific to the VCD Outlet itself. The booking between you and the Outlet is only confirmed when you receive written or electronic confirmation of booking from www.expatsh.com who in turn have received confirmation from the VCD Outlet itself. In the unlikely event that you do not receive such confirmation please contact us at info@expatsh.com

www.expatsh.com will not accept e-mailed requests for online VCD enquiries from web-based e-mail addresses (i.e. Hotmail, USA.net, Yahoo etc.) All e-mails sent to www.expatsh.com requesting online VCD enquiries must be from fully registered e-mail addresses. Cash must be paid to the VCD Outlet upon delivery or in the cases of fourth party transactions, payment should be negotiated between the VCD Outlet and the orderer.

Enquiries can be amended subject to the specific conditions set out in the VCD Outlets' conditions. www.expatsh.com are totally indemnified against the standard of the chosen VCD Outlets' services.

COMPUTER REPAIR

The contract of booking is made between you, as the consumer, and the Computer Repair Company who visits you and offers to undertake the repair work. The contract is between you and the Computer Repair Company and is only confirmed when you give them written permission to undertake repair work with your consent.

www.expatsh.com do not in any case contract on their own behalf, or assume any liability under this contract or these conditions. These Repair conditions set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and the Computer Repair Company with whom you sign a written contract. www.expatsh.com cannot be held responsible for any damages, loss of time/salary or any other claims relating to the Computer Repair company or their business.

www.expatsh.com will not accept e-mailed requests for online computer repair linking from web-based e-mail addresses (i.e. Hotmail, USA.net, Yahoo etc.) All e-mails sent to www.expatsh.com requesting online computer repair must be from fully registered e-mail addresses.

Computer Repair may be refused to be undertaken at the Computer Company's discretion.

ONLINE TRANSLATION

The contract of booking is made between you, as the consumer, and the Translation Company who offers to provide the translation services. The contract is between you and the Translation Company and is only confirmed when you give them written permission to undertake Translation work with your consent.

www.expatsh.com do not in any case contract on their own behalf, or assume any liability under this contract or these conditions. These Translation conditions set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and the Translation Company with whom you sign a written contract. www.expatsh.com cannot be held responsible for any damages, loss of time/salary or any other claims relating to the Translation company or their business.

Translation may be refused to be undertaken at the Translation Company's discretion.

HOLIDAY QUOTATIONS

The request for Holiday Quotations is made from you to www.expatsh.com. www.expatsh.com is solely an intermediary who is sourcing information on your behalf and providing that information to you on behalf of Travel Agencies/Companies within Shanghai. Any bookings and subsequent requests by the consumer for www.expatsh.com to book flights, travel, or any other form of booking that requires payment negates all responsibility of www.expatsh.com over further dealings between the consumer and the Travel Agency/Company.

www.expatsh.com will at all times make clear to the Travel Agencies/Companies that we are acting on your behalf to obtain information and at no stage will www.expatsh.com infer their responsibility for payment and will always state that any payment or contractual terms will not be undertaken by www.expatsh.com but by the consumer direct.

www.expatsh.com will not accept e-mailed requests for online Holiday Quotations linking from web-based e-mail addresses (i.e. Hotmail, USA.net, Yahoo etc.) All e-mails sent to www.expatsh.com requesting online Holiday Quotations must be from fully registered e-mail addresses.

APARTMENT FINDER

The request for Finding an Apartment is made from you to www.expatsh.com. www.expatsh.com is solely an intermediary who is sourcing information on your behalf and providing that information to you on behalf of Real Estate Agencies/Companies within Shanghai. Any bookings and subsequent requests by the consumer for www.expatsh.com to source any further information relating to potential property that may be of interest to you and that requires payment negates all responsibility of www.expatsh.com over further dealings between the consumer and the Real Estate Agency/Company.

www.expatsh.com will at all times make clear to the Real Estate Agency/Companies that we are acting on your behalf to obtain information and at no stage will www.expatsh.com infer their responsibility for payment and will always state that any payment or contractual terms will not be undertaken by www.expatsh.com but by the consumer direct.
